Student Housing FAQ's

Is housing available for students attending the horseshoeing school?

Yes. Troy Price Horseshoeing School offers on-site student housing in a farmhouse located directly on the school property in Wells County, Northeast Indiana. Housing is available at no additional cost to students who have paid their tuition and need overnight accommodations during their farrier training.

What amenities are included in the student housing?

The farmhouse includes kitchen and laundry facilities, air conditioning, and shared living spaces. Students have access to everything needed for comfortable day-to-day living while attending the horseshoeing courses.

What should I bring if I plan to stay in student housing?

Students should bring bedding for a twin or double bed, toiletries, clothing layers for working in varying weather conditions, extra footwear, food, a lunch container, and basic school supplies such as a notebook or folder. Since farrier training is hands-on and physically demanding, durable work clothing is recommended.

Are pets allowed in the student housing?

No. Pets are not permitted in the farmhouse. With multiple students sharing accommodations — and because students travel to farms that may already have animals on-site — allowing pets would not be practical for the group environment.
